Huddersfield Town’s Head Coach nominated for prestigious Premier League award

- David Wagner nominated for Premier League Manager of the Month
- Huddersfield Town beat both Fulham and Wolves in November
- You can now vote for David Wagner to win the award

Huddersfield Town Head Coach David Wagner has been nominated for the Barclays Premier League Manager of the Month award for November.

David Wagner’s side won two of its three Premier League games during November – including the Terriers first win of the season!

The month got off to a great start as Town beat Fulham 1-0 at the John Smith’s Stadium. A glancing header from Christopher Schindler deflected off Timothy Fosu-Mensah into the back of the net to give the Terriers a deserved win.

The Club’s first victory of the season was then followed by a good point at home against West Ham United, before an eye-catching performance at Molineux.

David Wagner’s side performed excellently away at Wolverhampton Wanderers and won 2-0 thanks to a brace from Aaron Mooy.

This is the first time this season that Town’s Head Coach has been nominated for the award, but not the first time since Town’s promotion to the top-flight! He won the award in August 2017 and was again nominated in February.

Wagner has been nominated alongside Rafael Benítez, Pep Guardiola, Jürgen Klopp, Mauricio Pochettino and Marco Silva.

The winner is decided through a combination of both a public vote and the opinion of an expert panel. You can cast your vote by selecting David Wagner from the form available in the link below.

Voting closes at midnight on Monday 10 December 2018 with the winner to be announced at noon on Friday 14 December 2018.

Full information is available of the award is available on the Premier League’s website.
