- Forward will now serve a three match suspension

Huddersfield Town's appeal against the red card shown to striker Steve Mounié in the game against Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday 1 December 2018 has been unsuccessful.

Town’s Benin international was shown a straight red card in the 32nd minute by referee Michael Oliver for a challenge on Yves Bissouma in the 2-1 defeat at the John Smith’s Stadium.

After Town submitted the appeal on Monday, the Regulatory Commission informed the Club that the appeal had been unsuccessful, meaning Steve will now serve a three match suspension.

This rules the striker out of the upcoming Premier League games against AFC Bournemouth (A) on 4 December, Arsenal (A) on 8 December and Newcastle United (H) on 15 December.
