Fantasy Premier League tips ahead of Gameweek 17

- Chris Löwe could be the Town player to watch against Newcastle United
- Alex Pritchard has been a major goal threat for the Terriers
- Laurent Depoitre’s underlying statistics have proven positive

Huddersfield Town’s Chris Löwe (£4.4m) is shaping up as one to watch in Gameweek 17 of Fantasy Premier League.

The German returned from injury last week and was fielded as a left winger in a 4-2-3-1 formation against Arsenal.

Löwe’s delivery down the flank could pose big problems for visitors Newcastle United on Saturday – his total of 18 successful crosses is ranked fourth among FPL defenders.

And with Aaron Mooy (£5.1m) sidelined over the winter period, Löwe could now be set to dominate set-plays for David Wagner’s side.

Alex Pritchard (£4.8m) has been a major goal threat in recent weeks.

The Terriers midfielder recorded 11 shots on goal and eight shots inside the penalty area over the last four Gameweeks, more than any team-mate.

Those totals also sit among the top four midfielders, underlining Pritchard’s potential against the Magpies.

Laurent Depoitre (£5.1m) will also be looking to take advantage of a defence that has faced 237 shots on goal, the fourth worst record in the Premier League.

The Belgian looks set to retain his starting role with Steve Mounié (£5.8m) still suspended.

Just like Pritchard, Depoitre’s underlying statistics are highly encouraging.

Indeed, his total of seven shots inside the box in the last two Gameweeks is more than any other forward in FPL.
