“The supporters will play a crucial part again” said Head Coach David Wagner ahead of Huddersfield Town’s Premier League game against Cardiff City.

The Terriers’ Head Coach spoke to the media in his press conference ahead of the game against the Bluebirds and detailed how important the supporters at the John Smith’s Stadium will be on Saturday.

“I am pretty confident after everything I’ve seen from my player so far, with our supporters on our back.

“They will play a crucial part again tomorrow that they lift everybody, give us the energy we need for our very intensive game, then we will try our best like always.”

Jonathan Hogg and Mathias Zanka were both ruled out of Town’s game against Manchester City last weekend, whilst Aaron Mooy missed out as his wife was giving birth.

David Wagner gave the latest on them and explained who was available this weekend.

“All our players are back in training. I had the whole week with a full squad available in training, the same today.

“This means injury-wise we are in a perfect situation.”

When looking ahead to this weekend’s game against Cardiff City, Town’s Head Coach explained:

“I think everyone is aware about Cardiff’s style and how Neil Warnock sets up his team.

“We have a lot of respect, we are aware that they’re very physical and very direct, but with some football quality in the final as well.

“Set plays, play a big part, so it’ll be a very physical game that we face. As I said we are aware about it and prepared for it, but hopefully we will come to our best.

“Our aim is to get the first points on the board tomorrow.”
