Scott Malone has today completed a permanent transfer to Sky Bet Championship club Derby County for an undisclosed fee.
The 27-year-old left back joined the Terriers in early July 2017 from Fulham on a three-year deal.
Malone made 22 Premier League appearances for Town over the course of the season, collecting one assist as Rajiv van La Parra scored in a 1-0 victory over West Brom at the John Smith’s Stadium.
His debut came during Town’s first defeat of the 2017/18 Premier League campaign when he came on as a second-half substitute as the Terriers fell to a two-goal defeat to West Ham.

“Recent arrivals have meant that we can’t give Scott the amount of playing time he would like this season and when the opportunity to join Derby came about, the deal made sense for everyone.”
