Huddersfield Town winger Rajiv van La Parra explained to #HTTV how Jonathan Hogg’s red card changed the match against Cardiff City.

Town’s Captain was sent off in the match and van La Parra went into detail about how the Terriers’ game plan had to change against the Bluebirds.

Rajiv also explained how he believes the point is something to build on due to the positives the players can take out of the game.

The winger continued to discuss how Town played prior to the sending off and how influential the supporters were in giving him and his teammates an extra boost on the pitch.

Not only this, he also went into detail about his relationship with Terence Kongolo down the left, how he was delighted to be back on the pitch and how the players had to match Cardiff aggression when going into challenges.

“After the red card it became really difficult for us. They started to play football and they kept finding free men; it was hard.

“But I think before the red card we did well and if we would stay with 11 then we’d have more chance to win the game.

“In the end with 10 men and them putting a lot of pressure on us, we could be happy with one point.”
