Despite being beaten by Maurizio Sarri’s side on the opening day of the 2018/19 Premier League season, the atmosphere at the John Smith’s Stadium was electric.
The Terriers remained resilient and defended well before a deflected N’Golo Kante strike gave Chelsea the lead in the 34th minute.
Town looked for a way back into the game and came close when Steve Mounié hit the post from a corner, before Jorginho doubled the visitor’s lead on the stroke of half-time from the penalty spot.
David Wagner’s side continued to look for a way back into the game, but Pedro made it three with 10 minutes remaining.
