A look at which new signings could help your FPL team

- Durm could provide attacking threat from defence
- Sobhi was clinical during the 2017/18 season
- Diakhaby managed one goal every 170 minutes for AS Monaco

Which of Town's new signings could make the difference for your Fantasy Premier League side?

Erik Durm (£4.5m)
Arriving from Borussia Dortmund over the summer, the versatile Germany international can play in either full-back position.

Durm (below) missed all of the 2017/18 campaign with hip and ankle problems but has stepped up his recovery and is now back in training.

Once fully fit, he could push for a starting role in David Wagner’s defence.

No Huddersfield Town full-back produced more than a single assist last season.

But Durm has the attacking threat to impact on the Terriers’ teamsheet.

He supplied two assists in 13 Bundesliga appearances for Dortmund in 2016/17, totalling 16 chances created and nine shots on goal.

Ramadan Sobhi (£5.0m)
The summer departure of Tom Ince boosts Sobhi’s potential in Fantasy.

Ince boasted Town’s main goal threat last season, firing 70 shots on goal. Yet he struggled for a cutting edge and found the net on only two occasions.

Sobhi (shown at the top of the article), however, matched that two-goal haul from just 13 attempts for Stoke City.

Not only was he more clinical, the Egyptian was also a quicker creator. He supplied a key pass every 82.3 minutes to Ince’s 136.3 minutes.

At a cost of £5.0m, he could become a big cut-price hit if he can secure a regular role.

Adama Diakhaby (£5.0m)
Despite being limited to just 10 league starts for AS Monaco last season, the versatile attacker still impressed.

Diakhaby (above) produced two goals and three assists in 850 minutes in Ligue 1.

And his average of 170 minutes per goal involvement in 2017/18 was quicker than any Huddersfield player.

He offers an option out wide and as a forward, though is expected to earn his minutes on the flanks in Wagner’s 4-2-3-1 formation.
