Huddersfield Town’s Under-18s side will face Sheffield Wednesday in its final game of the 2017/18 U18 Professional Development League season.

The match will kick-off at 11am at the Club’s PPG Canalside Training Ground on Tuesday 24 April 2018. Town supporters can watch the game for FREE!

The Young Terriers’ match against the Owls was scheduled to take place earlier this month, however, it was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

Leigh Bromby’s side comes into the final game of the 2017/18 season off the back of a 3-1 defeat against Ipswich Town on Saturday.

The young side has included a number of Under-17 players as plans are put in place for the upcoming season and due to Under-18s gaining First Team football on work experience at local clubs.

Following the defeat, Town’s Under-18s sit 10th in the Professional Development League with 32 points from 29 games.

Saturday’s opponent, Sheffield Wednesday, is currently sixth in the U18 Professional Development League, with 48 points from 29 games.

Coached by Ben Wilkinson, the Owls come into the game with just one defeat in the last six Professional Development League games. Although that defeat came in their last outing, losing 5-1 away at Birmingham City.
