Shirts for the Pedal for Pounds 9 ‘The Last Goal Post’ bike ride, sponsored by Made by Cooper, have been revealed!
The shirts are standard cycling jerseys with a zip to the front and three pockets on the back for storing energy bars, water bottles and other items during the ride.
Cyclists riding from Avelin to Huddersfield will wear the blue and white striped jerseys, which have adopted the same style as Town’s First Team shirts and include a Premier League badge to show off the Club’s top-flight status.
The front of the shirt is shown at the top of the article by Commercial Director Sean Jarvis, with the reverse below.
The jerseys will be worn by all cyclists on the first stretch of the 282 mile sponsored bike ride starting in Avelin on Wednesday 9 May 2018.
They will also wear the jerseys, which say ‘Lest We Forget’ on the collar, for the final 87 miles from Hull via Beverley back to Huddersfield on Saturday 12 May 2018.
The cyclists will also wear the jerseys on their lap of honour around the John Smith’s Stadium ahead of the Club’s final game of the Premier League season against Arsenal on Sunday 13 May.
The volunteer support team will also wear personalised green and black t-shirts and hoodies featuring the Made by Cooper logo.
Huddersfield Town’s Club Ambassador Andy Booth added:
“On behalf of Huddersfield Town and the Yorkshire Air Ambulance, I would like to thank Made by Cooper and all the sponsors of the bike ride for their valued contribution to the charities.
“I look forward to seeing the 175 P4P9 cyclists proudly displaying these logos on the shirts.”
