An unfortunate Jonas Lössl own goal gave Brighton the lead on the 29th minute after Solly March’s strike rebounded in off the keeper.
However, just three minutes later and Steve Mounié pulled one back for the Terriers after the forward made the most of sloppy Shane Duffy backpass and slotted past Matthew Ryan in the Brighton goal.
Town had several chances to bring all three points back to Yorkshire after Davy Pröpper was sent off for Brighton in the 74th minute, however David Wagner’s side had to settle for a point.
