Huddersfield Town Under-23s will host Cardiff City on Monday afternoon at PPG Canalside in the Professional Development League.
Frankie Bunn’s side played two games last week losing 2-1 away to Queens Park Rangers on Monday and then drawing 0-0 at Charlton Athletic on Friday.
The opponent, Cardiff City got their first win of the season in their last game, as they ran out 2-1 winners over Crewe Alexandra. Prior to that win, The Bluebirds suffered defeat in their opening two games of the PDL campaign, firstly at home to Sheffield Wednesday and then a 3-0 defeat at their South Yorkshire rivals, Sheffield United.
This will be the Terriers’ fourth game of the season against an opponent from the southern division. During the season, Town – members of the 11-team northern PDL division – play the other northern teams twice and the 10 southern teams once.
