Huddersfield Town’s Breakfast Briefing began the week’s events to ‘Celebrate Huddersfield, Celebrate Yorkshire’ as around 250 people came together to discuss the impact of the Club’s promotion on the local and surrounding Yorkshire area.

The event, chaired by the Yorkshire Post’s Deputy Business Editor Greg Wright, saw Sir Gary Verity (Welcome to Yorkshire CEO and Tour de Yorkshire pioneer), Sean Jarvis (Town’s Commercial Director) and Jacqui Gedman (Kirklees Council CEO) take to the stage to talk about how Town’s rise to the top-flight has attracted more people and investment to the county.

Businessmen and guests alike attended the event, held in the Revell Ward Suite at the John Smith’s Stadium, to debate how local firms can help each other to promote the local area and networked together revelling in Town’s Premier League success.

You can hear more about the Breakfast Briefing below courtesy of #HTTV as attendees including Sir Gary Verity gave their thoughts.
