Town will look to maintain momentum over the international break as David Wagner takes his side to the west of Hamburg to face Altona 93 in a friendly on Sunday 3 September.
The game, which will kick-off at 5pm (4pm UK Time) at the Adolf-Jäger-Kampfbahn Stadium, will see Town face the fourth tier German side in an international break friendly.
Town’s next Premier League fixture is not until Monday 11 September against West Ham United and the friendly will provide game time for those not currently on international duty.
Formed in 1893 and one of the founding members of the German Football Association, The German outfit have played five games of their Regionalliga campaign prior to the international break and currently sit in 12th position having won two and lost the other three games.
Altona were last season promoted from the fifth tier Oberliga division having finished in third place in the regular season. The Club then achieved promotion to the fourth tier through the Northern promotion round.
West Ham made the same trip Town will make to face Altona in pre-season, where both sides played out a 3-3 draw at the Adolf-Jäger-Kampfbahn Stadium in August.
Town will be without any of the eight players away on international duty, that includes first team regulars Jonas Lossl, Mathias Zanka, Philip Billing, Aaron Mooy, Kasey Palmer & Elias Kachunga.
New signings Rob Green, Florent Hadergjonaj and Abdelhamid Sabiri could all feature having joined Town since the last Premier League fixture against Southampton.
