Frankie Bunn’s Under-23 side travel to Bristol City on Monday evening as they continue their Professional Development League campaign at Ashton Gate.

The Young Terriers will be looking to secure their first win of the season having lost three of their opening four games and playing out a goalless draw in the other. In their last game, the U23s suffered defeat at home to Cardiff City losing 2-1 at PPG Canalside.

Their opponents, Bristol City, have won one game this season in a 3-1 victory at home to Burnley. The Robins suffered defeat in their other three games against Sheffield United, Nottingham Forest & Crewe Alexandra respectively.

The game will take place at Bristol City’s Ashton Gate Stadium with kick-off scheduled to take place at 7pm, an hour before the First Team kick-off their Premier League tie against West Ham at the Olympic Stadium.

The Professional Development league consists of both a Northern & Southern regional division. Town – who are part of the Northern division – will face each of the Southern teams on one occasion and the Northern teams on two occasions over the course of the season.
