Huddersfield Town Head Coach David Wagner reviewed the Club’s 3-0 defeat at Anfield with #HTTV.
David Wagner believed his side’s defensive performance - up until the first goal - was very good.
The Head Coach was also quick to praise the travelling Town supporters who he described as “Incredible”.
In his interview with HTTV, David Wagner commented:
“I think the players did very well defensively up until the first goal, we didn’t give a clear-cut chance away. We kept them away from our goal and neutralised the offensive quality they have.
“You have to neutralise the offensive power that these teams have, the players have done this very well and shown great attitude. But, you are not allowed to make one single mistake, or they will punish you, that’s what they’ve done today and this is what you have to accept.
“Our supporters have made the noise at Anfield today – even after the final whistle went and the result was clear. Everybody I think everyone who is connected to the Football Club can be very proud. The support was incredible.”
