Purpose of role
To assist in the overall delivery of physiotherapy support services to the Academy at Huddersfield Town, and the delivery of physiotherapy support to the Club’s Under-18 playing squad.
Key Tasks
- Lead in the delivery of physiotherapy support services to the Club’s Under-18s playing squad and other teams as required.
- Assists with the clinical diagnosis, planning and delivery of treatments, and the prevention of injury and illness to the Club’s Academy players.
- Maintain a comprehensive database of note keeping in accordance with professional standards requirement.
- Assist with the writing and continually updating of the department’s standard operating procedures.
- Execute additional tasks as required in order to meet the Club’s changing priorities.
Essential Skills
- Chartered Physiotherapist with HCPC
- Live AREA certificate
- Excellent understanding of academic and applied knowledge of contemporary practice in physiotherapy and rehabilitation
- Excellent understanding of paediatric physiology
- Live Child Protection Certificate
Desirable Skills
- Experience of working in professional sport/football
- Experience of working within youth sport/football

- Registered to work in the UK: Yes
- Full clean driving licence: Yes
