Bromby’s side got top

- Town’s Under-18s ran out 4-0 victors at Burnley
- Goals from George Danaher, Matty Daly, Cameron Taylor & an OG
- Highlights on HTTV next week

Leigh Bromby's young Terriers surged to the top of the Under 18 Professional Development Northern League after a comprehensive 4-0 victory away at Burnley.

Bromby named an unchanged side for the game as Town looked to build on last week’s win over Sheffield Wednesday.

It took 6 minutes for Town to gain the advantage; a wonderful team move resulted in a home defender putting into his own net.

Matty Daly doubled that lead on 24 minutes, before George Danaher added a third minutes before the break by heading home at the far post following another neat attacking move.

Town looked comfortable in east Lancashire, and Cameron Taylor put the game beyond any reasonable doubt just after the hour mark by nodding in from a corner to round off another superb win.

Next up for Leigh Bromby’s side will take place next weekend where it hosts Bolton Wanderers at PPG Canalside for an 11am kick off.

TOWN'S UNDER-18 STARTING LINE-UP:
Luke Mewitt; Ben Jackson, Cameron Taylor, Saul Milovanovic (Jordan Thomas, 60'); Mason O'Malley (Tom Bamford, 60'), Scott High, Matty Daly, Dahomey Raymond (Isaac Marriott 60'), Dom Tear; George Danaher (c), Micah Obiero

UNUSED SUB:
