Huddersfield Town’s Under-18s face Barnsley in the Professional Development League at PPG Canalside on Saturday.

The game will be played at the Club’s Training Ground and will kick-off at 11am; supporters can watch the Young Terriers for free.

Bromby’s Under-18s side has lost only two of its opening eight games this season and currently sit fourth in the table, just three points off the top.

Town’s Under-18s go into the game unbeaten in their last three matches and off the back of a 3-2 victory away at Birmingham City, courtesy of goals from Matty Daly, George Danaher and Olly Dyson.

Town’s opponents, Barnsley, sit second from bottom in the Northern region of the Professional Development League, having won just one of the Club’s last five matches.

Managed by Martin Devaney, the Young Tykes came into the game after drawing 2-2 with Hull City – the side who sit one place ahead of Town in the league table.

At the end of the PDL season, the top two teams from the northern table advance to the end-of-season Play-Offs, facing their southern equivalents before a one-off final to crown the seasonal champion.

If you cannot make the game, you can see the team news and goal updates via Town's official Academy Twitter account, @htafcacademy.
