Huddersfield Town’s Under-18s side face Sheffield Wednesday away from home in the Professional Development League on Saturday.

PD Coach Leigh Bromby’s side will face the Terriers at Sheffield Wednesday’s Middlewood Road Training Ground (S6 1TF) in the game that will kick-off at 11am on Saturday 21 October 2017.

Town’s Under-18s were beaten 3-2 in its last outing at home at Barnsley. An own goal and a header from Dominic Tear weren’t enough for the Young Terriers to take away any points.

That result means the young Terriers currently sits seventh in the Under-18s Professional Development League with 14 points from nine games; three points off the top.

Saturday’s opponent, Sheffield Wednesday, is currently two places behind Town in the table.

Wednesday drew 1-1 at Hull City in the Club’s last match, putting an end to a run of three straight defeats.

At the end of the PDL season, the top two teams from the northern table advance to the end-of-season Play-Offs, facing their southern equivalents before a one-off final to crown the seasonal champion.
