Interested in Pedal for Pounds? Here's what Dean and Janet Hoyle, Sean Jarvis and Andy Booth had to say about last year's ride via #HTTV!
Club Ambassador, Andy Booth commented:
“We are really excited to announce the ninth instalment of Pedal for Pounds; it will certainly be a special one.
“The ride last year was a huge success and we can’t wait for everyone to find out the route and all the details for this one.
“I would urge everyone who is interested, whether you are a seasoned Pedal for Pounds rider or if you haven’t done it before, to come down to PPG Canalside for the big reveal.
“There was a huge demand for the ride last year and there are only limited spaces once again on this year’s ride.”
The Pedal for Pounds rides have been instrumental in raising funds for the ‘Keep It Up Campaign’, the Club’s fundraising partnership between Huddersfield Town Academy and the Yorkshire Air Ambulance. So far £1.7 million has been raised for the charity, with the majority coming from Pedal for Pounds bike rides.
Huddersfield Town has just announced last season’s total amount raised for the campaign was £232,007.
