Belgian’s strike wins Club’s Goal of the Month award

Laurent Depoitre’s strike against Leicester City has been voted by Huddersfield Town supporters as the Club’s September’s Goal of the Month.
Lolo’s effort against the 2015/16 Premier League Champions received the majority of the votes and beat off competition from Olly Dyson, Danny Kane and Mason O’Malley.
The goal came 46 minutes into Laurent’s first Premier League appearance as the Belgian-forward rolled Harry Maguire to go through on-goal before he coolly slotted the ball past Kasper Schmeichel in the Leicester City goal.

Town’s Goal of the Month competition will run every month and incorporate the best goals from the First Team, Under-23s and Under-18s teams.
