After missing a penalty early on, Frankie Bunn’s youngsters fell a goal behind when Sarkic placed the ball past Joel Coleman.
However, an Olly Dyson brace and a stunning 35 yard volley from Abdelhamid Sabiri put the Terriers 3-1 ahead before Leeds United pulled back a late consolation goal.
Joel Coleman, Martin Cranie, Dean Whitehead, Florent Hadergjonaj, Abdelhamid Sabiri and Collin Quaner all played a part for Town’s Under-23s gaining valuable minutes and match fitness.
