Wagner makes three changes to line-up
- Wagner makes three changes to Town starting XI
- Florent Hadergjonaj makes his first Premier League start
- Elias Kachunga & Scott Malone also start
Huddersfield Town Head Coach David Wagner has made three changes to the starting XI for today’s Premier League game at home to West Bromwich Albion; 3pm kick-off at the John Smith’s Stadium.
Swiss international Florent Hadergjonaj will make his first Premier League start at right back today, which will also mark his competitive home debut for the Terriers. He replaced Tommy Smith, who is among the substitutes this afternoon.
As a result, Jonathan Hogg will captain the team today.
Scott Malone – who started his career at West Brom’s rivals Wolves – also starts his first home Premier League game today in place of Chris Löwe.
The final change comes further up the pitch, where Elias Kachunga returns in place of Danny Williams. This is likely to see Aaron Mooy drop back alongside Hogg into one of the deeper midfield positions.
Another former Wolves man, Rajiv van La Parra, is fit after the groin problem that forced him off at Liverpool last weekend and makes his 50th league start for Huddersfield Town today.
