Wagner makes three changes to starting XI

Huddersfield Town Head Coach David Wagner has made three changes to the starting XI for today’s Premier League game against Manchester City; 4pm kick-off at the John Smith’s Stadium.

Having missed the game at AFC Bournemouth last weekend as he served a one match suspension, Christopher Schindler returns to the side in place of Martin Cranie, who is a substitute.

Another player making a welcome return is Jonathan Hogg, who was unavailable for the game on the south coast due to the birth of his first son. He replaces Elias Kachunga in the starting XI.

The third and final change sees Club Captain Tommy Smith, who spent eight years in the Manchester City Academy, return to the line-up for the first time in three games at the expense of Florent Hadergjonaj.

Another former Man City player starts against his former side for the first time since making his loan move to Town permanent this summer; Aaron Mooy.

David Wagner is without the services of Philip Billing (ankle), Jon Gorenc Stanković (knee) and Michael Hefele (Achilles).
