Huddersfield Town Head Coach David Wagner was appointed at the Club two years ago today (5 November 2017) and looks back at iconic moments under his tenure.

To celebrate David Wagner’s anniversary with Huddersfield Town, #HTTV put a special commemorative video together; you can watch it below!

On 5 November 2015 David Wagner was appointed as Huddersfield Town’s Head Coach. He became the Club’s first Head Coach from overseas and joined the Terriers alongside Assistant Head Coach Christoph Bühler from Borussia Dortmund II.

On 5 December 2015, goals from Joe Lolley and Nakhi Wells sealed Huddersfield Town’s first win under the guidance of David Wagner. Town’s Head Coach commented: “It was the perfect performance.”

David Wagner was named Sky Bet Championship Manager of the Month for the first time on 9 September 2016 as the Terriers picked up 13 points from a possible 15 in the opening month of the season. Click here to read the article!

On 22 October 2016 we witnessed David Wagner’s memorable celebration after Elias Kachunga scored a last-minute winner against Derby County at the John Smith’s Stadium.

He ran the length of the pitch to join his players; you can watch highlights from that game below!

Town’s Head Coach guided the Terriers to consecutive wins over promotion rivals Brighton & HA and Leeds United in February. The 2-1 win against the latter once again ended up with Wagner sprinting 45 yards to jump on goal scorer Michael Hefele.

Huddersfield Town achieved promotion to the Premier League for the first time in the Club’s history after Christopher Schindler’s memorable penalty-kick against Reading in the Sky Bet Championship Play-Off Final at Wembley on 29 May 2017.

On 8 September 2017 David Wagner was named as the Premier League Manager of the Month for August 2017 as Town won its opening two games in the top-flight of English football, including an emphatic 3-0 win over Crystal Palace. Click here to read the article.
