Town duo set to join countries after Play-Off Final

- Danny Ward to travel to Portugal with Wales
- Izzy Brown also in England Under-21 training squad
- Players to join national squads after Play-Off Final

Two members of Town’s First Team squad have received their latest international summons.

Following on from Aaron Mooy’s call-up to the latest Australia squad on Monday, Town’s fellow on-loan players Danny Ward and Izzy Brown have received international summons.

Ward, who already has three senior caps for the Welsh national team, will travel to Portugal as part of Chris Coleman’s 26-man squad to prepare for the upcoming World Cup qualifier against Serbia.

However, Ward – alongside Chris Gunter and Aaron Ramsey – will travel later than his teammates due to his club commitments this coming weekend.

Meanwhile, Izzy is part of Aidy Boothroyd’s 28-man Under-21 squad that will work at St. George’s Park In preparation for the upcoming European Championship Finals in Poland.

The Chelsea loanee’s involvement with Town in the upcoming Sky Bet Championship Play-Off Final also ruled him out of the Under-20 squad for the World Cup currently being held in Korea.

Like Ward, Izzy – who has been capped by England up to Under-20 level recently – will join up with the squad after Monday’s game.
