Wagner makes three changes for semi-final first leg

- Wagner makes three changes to Town XI
- Coleman, Kachunga & Wells all start
- Ward suspended; Quaner on bench, Scannell misses out

Huddersfield Town Head Coach David Wagner has made three changes to the starting XI for today’s Sky Bet Championship Play-Off semi-final first leg against Sheffield Wednesday; noon kick-off at the John Smith’s Stadium.

As expected, the first change comes in goal where Joel Coleman replaces the suspended Danny Ward, who is serving a one-match ban following his red card against Cardiff City last weekend. As a result, 21 year-old ‘keeper Luke Coddington is on the bench today.

The second switch sees a welcome return for top scorer Elias Kachunga, who has missed Town’s last four games due to a calf injury. He replaces Sean Scannell on the right side of the attacking midfield trio.

The final change comes in attack, where Nahki Wells (pictured) replaces Collin Quaner. The Bermudian has netted four times in three previous Play-Off appearances, all for Bradford City.
