Huddersfield Town’s Under-18 side is back in Professional Development League action on Saturday morning in a West Yorkshire derby against Leeds United.

The game, which kicks off at 11am, takes place at Leeds United’s Thorp Arch training ground (Wetherby, LS23 7BA). Fans can watch for free, but please note there is no parking on site.

If you can’t get to the game, you can get all the latest team news and match updates via the Club’s dedicated Huddersfield Town Academy Twitter account, @htafcacademy.

Both teams head into the game with momentum following victories in their latest outings.

Town’s youngsters put on a dominant display in their last outing, defeating Cardiff City 6-0 at PPG Canalside. Highlights of that game are below courtesy of HTTV.

The young Terriers currently sit in fifth place in the 10-team northern table, but with two games in hand and only three points behind third place.

Similarly, Leeds - who are led by one-time Town loanee Mark Jackson - picked up a victory over Colchester United Under-18s. Despite this, Leeds sits at the bottom of the northern league. A victory against Town on Saturday could see them move off the foot of the table.

As ever, the top two teams from the northern table face their southern equivalents in the end of season Play-Offs to determine an overall Under-18 Professional Development League champion at the end of the regular season.
