Frankie Bunn’s side returned from Premier League Cup action with a 1-1 draw against Millwall in its last PDL. Olly Dyson opened the scoring for the young Terriers before the hosts equalised before half-time. You can watch highlights of the match below courtesy of HTTV.

This will be the third time Town’s Under-23s side has faced Ipswich Town this season, after the two teams were in the same group in the Premier League Cup.

In the first meeting, Frankie Bunn’s men ran out 2-0 winners at Portman Road against an Ipswich side which included First Team players Leon Best, Kévin Bru, Jonny Williams, Brett Pitman, Dean Gerken and Josh Emmanuel.  Jack Boyle and Lewis O’Brien popped up with the goals as the Terriers won its first game in the Premier League Cup.

The second meeting proved to be more evenly contested as the sides drew 1-1. Jack Boyle’s last gasp equaliser was enough to see the Terriers progress to the next round.

Huddersfield Town’s Under-23s side currently sits ninth in the PDL North table with 29 points, 10 points off second placed Hull City with two games in hand.

Monday’s opponents will be coming into this game off the back of a 1-1 draw with Crewe Alexandra.

The Tractor Boys, led by former player Gerard Nash currently sits in fifth place in the Professional Development League South table with 29 points; 10 points off Millwall in second.

As always, the top two sides from the northern table will qualify for the end-of-season Professional Development League Play-Offs against the equivalent southern table sides to crown the overall PDL champion.
