Town will face a tough opponent in current 2. Bundesliga Champions VfB Stuttgart in the first of two friendlies during the Austrian camp on Tuesday 1 August 2017.

Five times the winners of the Bundesliga – the latest title coming in 2007 – VfB Stuttgart is back in the German top flight in the upcoming 2017/18 campaign after winning the 2. Bundesliga title last season, bouncing back from relegation at the first attempt.

Hannes Wolf's young side was two points ahead of the second placed team after accumulating 69 points from 34 league fixtures, notching a league high 64 goals in the process.

Striker Simon Terrode (pictured below) top scored with 25 goals in just 33 appearances in his debut season for the Club following move from VfL Bochum.

Wolf, 36, coaches Borussia Dortmund’s Under-17 side between 2011 and 2015; the same time that Town Head Coach David Wagner oversaw Dortmund’s II side.
