Defender joins Sky Bet League 1 club on loan
- Tareiq Holmes-Dennis leaves Huddersfield Town on loan
- 21 year-old joins Portsmouth
- Loan move runs until 31 May 2018
Huddersfield Town defender Tareiq Holmes-Dennis has today joined Sky Bet League 1 side Portsmouth on a Standard Loan.
The 21 year-old’s loan runs until 31 May 2018, although the Terriers have the ability to recall the left-back in January 2018.
Tareiq joined Huddersfield Town on 24 August 2016 for an undisclosed fee from Sky Bet League 1 side Charlton Athletic.
Holmes-Dennis made 11 starts and four substitute appearances for Town during its Sky Bet Championship Play-Off winning campaign, including appearances in both semi-final matches against Sheffield Wednesday.
He will now join Portsmouth under the guidance of Manager Kenny Jackett, as the Club prepares for its first season back in the third tier of English football after Pompey were crowned Champions of Sky Bet League 2 last season.
