Huddersfield Town has today released the squad numbers for the First Team ahead of the new 2017/18 Premier League season.
Eight of Town’s nine summer signings for David Wagner’s First Team have been handed squad numbers; defender Mathias ‘Zanka’ Jørgensen will receive a squad number shortly.
Club record signing Steve Mounié, who penned a four year deal with the Club, has taken the number 24 shirt which was previously unassigned during the 2016/17 campaign.
Former FC Porto striker Laurent Depoitre has taken the number 20 shirt; the same number he wore on his international debut for Belgium, whilst left back Scott Malone takes number three.
Tom Ince, who joined the Club from Derby County and USA international Danny Williams have chosen the numbers 22 and 19 respectively.
On their return to the Club Aaron Mooy and Kasey Palmer have both chosen to retain their number 10 and 45 shirts.
Goalkeeper Jonas Lössl has been assigned the number one jersey, which has been vacated by Danny Ward who returned to Liverpool following the conclusion on his loan spell.
The existing players from Town’s Sky Bet Championship promotion winning squad have all retained their squad numbers from the 2016/17 season.
