Huddersfield Town will face Udinese at the John Smith’s Stadium in a pre-season friendly ahead of the 2017/18 Premier League campaign.

David Wagner’s First Team squad will take on the Serie A side on Wednesday 26 July 2017 – the Club’s only home friendly before the start of Town’s return to the top flight on English football.

The match will kick-off at 6pm and admission information is still to be confirmed; please keep checking for more information.

Managed by Luigi Delneri, Udinese finished 13th in the Serie A table with 45 points from 38 games.

Delneri was appointed as the First Team Head Coach on 4 October 2016 and led the Italian side to its highest finish since achieving fifth place during the 2012/13 season.

Udinese’s squad features a number of players with international experience including Ghanaian international Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu, who has over 80 caps for his country.

Prior to last season’s 2016/17 campaign Udinese also brought in a number of players from English sides like Manchester City youngster Seko Fofana and former Watford centre-back Gabriele Angella.

This is the seventh confirmed pre-season friendly ahead of Town’s first ever season in the Premier League.
