Huddersfield Town’s Under-23 side travels to the Midlands to face West Bromwich Albion in the Premier League Cup on Tuesday 24 January.

The match will take place at Kidderminster Harriers’ ground, Aggborough (Hoo Road, Kidderminster, DY10 1NB) and will kick-off at 7pm.

Frankie Bunn’s Development Squad will be looking to secure all three points and leapfrog West Brom in the four-team group to put them in a strong position to qualify for the last 16 of competition.

When the two teams faced earlier in the competition, in October at Curzon Ashton, a solitary goal from Kane Wilson earned the Baggies the win.

The young Terriers currently sits third in the Premier League Cup Group G table with three points from three games, one point behind second placed West Brom.

Town’s U23s were held to a 2-2 draw at home to Barnsley last time out. Rekeil Pyke scored his first goal since returning from a loan spell at Wrexham AFC. Lewis O’Brien scored the Club’s second but ex-Town man, Jake Charles scored a last minute free-kick to snatch a point. Highlights are available below via HTTV.

Tuesday nights opponents, West Brom go into the game with just one win in their last 11 matches. The Baggies’ last win came against Blackburn Rovers on 24 October. However, they are the only side to take any points off Group G leaders Liverpool FC.

Fans can attend the match; adults tickets are available for £5 and Under-16s are just £1.
