TEAM NEWS: TOWN vs PORT VALE

Wagner makes five changes to starting XI

- New signing Izzy Brown makes Town debut vs Port Vale
- Joe Lolley also returns to starting XI after injury
- Joel Coleman, Dean Whitehead and Kasey Palmer play too

New signing Isaiah Brown makes his Huddersfield Town debut on his 20th birthday as one of five changes to the starting XI for today’s Emirates FA Cup game against Port Vale.

The Chelsea loanee received his clearances from the leagues in time to play for the Terriers in today’s Third Round tie, which kicks-off at the John Smith’s Stadium at 3pm.

There’s also a welcome return to the starting line-up for Joe Lolley; his first start since picking up the foot injury that ruled him out for four months at Aston Villa on 16 August 2016.

Joel Coleman makes only his second competitive appearance for the Terriers in goal, whilst Dean Whitehead returns to the starting XI in central midfield.

The final switch sees Kasey Palmer return to the line-up, having been a substitute in the 1-0 win at Wigan Athletic last time out.

Danny Ward, Aaron Mooy, Harry Bunn and Nahki Wells are on the bench this afternoon, whilst Elias Kachunga – who has played more minutes than any other Town player so far this season – and Chris Löwe are rested entirely.

That means Mark Hudson skippers the side on his 100th appearance for the Club, whilst young left back Tareiq Holmes-Dennis starts back-to-back games for the first time since joining Town in the summer.
