Huddersfield Town’s Development Squad is inaction for the first time in 2017 on Monday afternoon in aProfessional Development League game against Sheffield United.

The young Terriers, led by Senior Professional Development Coach Frankie Bunn, will take on the Blades in a 2pm kick-off at Stocksbridge Park Steels' Look Local Stadium (Bracken Moor Lane, Stocksbridge, Sheffield, South Yorkshire, S36 2AN).

The young Terriers will look to build on a good win over Hull City in the final competitive game of 2016, with goals from Olly Dyson and Jacob Hanson securing a 2-1 victory over the league leaders. You can watch highlights from the match below via HTTV!

Town come into the game placed third in the 10-team PDL North table with 23 points from 16 games, just four points behind Monday's host in the important second placed spot.

Sheffield Wednesday's Under-23s are led by Neil Thompson and come into the game on the back of a 2-0 victory over Leeds United just before Christmas.

As always, the top two sides from the northern table will qualify for the end-of-season Professional Development League Play-Offs against the equivalent southern table sides to crown the overall PDL champion.
