- More to be announced later this week
Town fans young and old can take control of Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and even Elias Kachunga on Saturday as GAME Huddersfield has been confirmed for the new PPG Canalside Fanzone.
The fanzone, sponsored by new Club Partner Perrys Vauxhall, will start at 11am on Saturday 21 January and offers lots for every Town fan of any taste.
Earlier this week, htafc.com confirmed many activities aimed towards the Club’s younger supporters, which included the speed cage and the dribbling mats, thanks to Globe Game Sports.
On top of those, the PPG Canalside Fanzone will boast a games arena that includes four Xbox One consoles. People of all ages will be able to show off their skills and play against their friends or fellow Town fans on FIFA 17, kindly provided by GAME in Huddersfield.
There will be four game monitors and eight controllers so fans of all ages can get involved. GAME staff will be at the event to point you in the direction of the arena!
Boothy’s Beer and Banter is on in the Radcliffe Suite on Saturday at 12.30pm; Boothy will be joined on stage by European Cup winner Alex Stepney.
Sponsors of the event, Perrys Vauxhall is bringing some of its cars to the Club’s Training Ground, while a pop-up retail shop will also be available to fans to buy some the Club’s products ahead of the Ipswich match.
A BBQ will be available at PPG Canalside, as will the normal match day menu; the Town Foundation Mascot Captain Booth will also be on hand to meet some of our young supporters!
If you want an early football fix, Huddersfield Town’s Under-18s kicks off its U18 Professional Development League game against Crewe Alexandra at 11am.
There are more events to be confirmed before Saturday so keep checking the Club’s Twitter account @htafcdotcom for announcements.
