Mooy secures his third BWF Player of the Month Award
- Mooy named BWF Player of the Month for December- Midfielder beats Kachunga and Smith to the award
- One fan is set to meet Mooy ahead of Town’s match against Port Vale
Blue and White Foundation members voted Aaron Mooy as their December 2016 Player of the Month!
The midfielder narrowly beat top scorer Elias Kachunga and last month’s winner Tommy Smith to win his third Player of the Month award of the season after the BWF votes were counted.
The Australian international won the first two Player of the Month awards of the season, with Jonathan Hogg and Tommy Smith picking up the accolade in October and November respectively.
Mooy was ever present for Huddersfield Town in December and was instrumental in helping the Club win four of its six matches over the busy Christmas period. Click below to watch a video of Aaron Mooy so far this season, courtesy of HTTV!
Blue and White Foundation member Paul Broadhead from Lindley voted for Aaron and was drawn to meet him before the Emirates FA Cup Third Round match at home to Port Vale on Saturday 7 January 2017 to present him with his champagne.
Paul will also receive a commemorative signed photo with Aaron.
All the money generated from the £2 a week that Blue & White Foundation members pay goes straight to the Huddersfield Town Academy.
