U23s ON SUNDAY: VENUE CHANGE FOR IPSWICH GAME

25 February 2017

Game still kicking off at 2pm

- Venue switch for Town U23s vs Ipswich Town
- Kick-off now at PPG Canalside at 2pm
- Watch Frankie Bunn preview the game

Huddersfield Town’s Under-23 Premier League Cup game at home to Ipswich Town on Sunday 26 February will now be played at PPG Canalside.

The game was originally scheduled to be played at Curzon Ashton’s Tameside Stadium, just as Town’s previous Premier League Cup home games have been in line with venue requirements in the competition.

However, after a pitch inspection today, the Premier League has granted Town permission to play the game at PPG Canalside given Ipswich Town has travelled to the region on Saturday.

The game will still kick-off at 2pm, with admission priced at just £1; this includes a free team sheet.

A win for Frankie Bunn’s side would guarantee progression to the next stage of the competition. Town sits second in the four-team table with a game to go, one point ahead of West Brom in third. The top two sides progress, with Liverpool FC having already secured passage.
