Details from the February 2017 'All Together Town' meeting have today been released.

17 members of the Voices Panel were in attendance as well as Huddersfield Town staff members, Club Ambassador Andy Booth, PPG Canalside Commercial Manager Lesley Turner and Supporter Partnerships Executive Rachel Taylor.

Independent Supporter Liaison Officer Nathan Hosker was also present.

A range of topics were covered in the meeting from Season Cards 2017/18, Twenty’s Plenty, All Together Town going forward, communication, a transport volunteer scheme and PPG Canalside’s Perrys Fanzone.

Andy Booth opened the meeting by welcoming the Voices Panel.

Commercial Director Sean Jarvis asked for views from the Voices Panel on Season cards for 2017/18. Season cards were due to be discussed at the next Board meeting.

A member of the Voices Panel asked if the Twenty’s Plenty Football Supporters Federation campaign for away fans could be looked at for next season. Due to the Club’s pricing structure this season, the majority of away supporters visiting the Stadium have been charged £20.

A discussion took place regarding what the ATT Voices Panel aims and agenda were going forward. At inception of the Voices Panel in November 2013, atmosphere was highlighted as the major issue for supporters. The panel focused heavily on this, which led to the formation of the North Stand Loyal and it was agreed that major improvements have been made on this front. Catering was still on the agenda but it was felt that a sub group was needed to take this forward. The Panel felt we needed a new focus and it was agreed that we would ask Mark Bradley of the Fan Experience Company to attend a meeting to give us his expertise from his work with other Football Clubs and sporting organisations.

It was suggested that we look at recruiting new members to the Voices Panel from different age ranges, one suggestion was to set up a ‘Young Voices’ panel for juniors. The Club would look at setting this up.

Communication to the wider fan base into what the ATT Voices Panel discusses and how this is relayed to supporters was discussed, and it was felt this needs to improve. Suggestions included a pre-meeting article on htafc.com with the ability for supporters to email in with subjects they would like to be discussed.

Lesley Turner, Commercial Manager at PPG Canalside was introduced to the Panel. Sean explained the changes both on a non-match day and on a match day at PPG Canalside and how the new Perrys Fanzone was working. The Perrys Fanzone was growing match by match and looking at introducing bands and other activities to enhance it. The members on the Voices Panel were asked to spread the word and come and sample the Perrys Fanzone for themselves. A Voices Panel member suggested a volunteer car scheme to transport less able supporters to the Stadium and back to PPG after the match. The Club are also considering the logistics of putting on transport for fans. Lesley was happy for her e-mail to be circulated to the Panel for them to give ideas and feedback.

Andy Booth circulated some retail merchandise that the Club is due to stock for feedback.

A Voices Panel member asked if the Club still issued surveys to the online panel, to which the answer was yes.

HTSA had been informed that the headsets for the visually impaired supporters were not giving a good quality reception for fans. The Club would look into this as the headsets had only recently been replaced in September 2016.

The next meeting of the Voices Panel is scheduled to take place early in March 2017.
