Huddersfield Town Head Coach speaks to the press ahead of the Club’s Premier League match against Everton.

David Wagner went into detail about why Town’s focus is even more on itself because of the managerial change at Everton and explained he knows the type of football Sam Allardyce likes to play.

Town’s Head Coach discussed the effectiveness of Wayne Rooney after the striker scored a hat-trick against West Ham and how the Club’s focus is to take points out of every game this season explaining that he doesn’t target specific game.

Looking ahead to the match against Everton David Wagner commented:

“First of all I think its never nice if your opponent changes a manager just before you play them and you’re the first who plays the; this is the truth.

“The truth as well is that Sam Allardyce is in charge now and usually everyone is aware what Sam Allardyce teams are delivering so it isn’t such a big doubt what they will do for us and we will prepare us as we have done in the past.

“Maybe a little bit more focus on ourselves because they changed their manager but we will be strong focused on ourselves and now it makes even more sense to be focused on ourselves, our performance, our set-up and our idea so we can show everything that we have in our head in theory on the grass because of their manager changing.”
