Huddersfield Town Head Coach David Wagner spoke of the importance of recovery ahead of the Club’s Premier League game against Leicester City.

Town’s Head Coach explained that he thinks his side is on track so far this season but knows his players still have to improve to survive in the Premier League.

David Wagner went on to praise his players’ focus looking from match to match whilst giving the latest team news ahead of the match.

Wagner discussed how recovery and training happened straight after the Burnley game at the Club’s PPG Canalside Training Complex to make sure his players are in the best condition possible for the match against Leicester City.

When speaking ahead of the Leicester City match David Wagner commented:

“One idea is that at this minute the group is back at PPG Canalside, one group is recovering and one is training. We will make sure that all the recovery strategies work.

“We know, and you know it as well, we have a very small and tight squad because we don’t have the biggest budget and we have to make sure that we keep them fresh and healthy by rotating them.

“This is what we’ve done since the start of the season, this is what we have to do and what will continue.

“Rotation and recovering strategies and making sure that in the right moment we bring in fresh legs, even when you have a very tight squad, this is how we like to deal with this period.”
