Wagner makes four changes to starting XI

Huddersfield Town Head Coach David Wagner has made four changes to the starting XI for today’s Premier League game at Watford; 3pm kick-off at the Vicarage Road Stadium.

Club Captain Tommy Smith hasn’t travelled south with the squad due to illness, so Florent Hadergjonaj – fresh from his first Town assist against Chelsea on Tuesday night – starts at right back.

In Tommy’s absence, former Watford man Jonathan Hogg skippers the side from midfield; ‘Hoggy’ made 84 appearances across two seasons for the Hornets before making the move between the two clubs in the summer of 2013.

The final three changes come in the attacking areas.

Having scored his third goal of the season from the bench in midweek, Laurent Depoitre is restored to the starting XI in place of top scorer Steve Mounié.

Rajiv van La Parra also completes his return from suspension, starting in place of Tom Ince, whilst Collin Quaner is restored to the team in place of Danny Williams.

Alongside Smith, David Wagner is still without the sidelined Philip Billing (ankle) and Jon Gorenc Stanković (knee).
