Three changes made to starting line-up

Huddersfield Town Head Coach David Wagner has made three changes to the starting XI for the final game of 2017 at home to Burnley today; 3pm kick-off at the John Smith’s Stadium.

David has shuffled his pack once again during this busy festive period, with two changes in defence and one in attack.

Florent Hadergjonaj returns to the side this afternoon in place of Club Captain Tommy Smith, who is a substitute. This means that Jonathan Hogg will skipper the side from central midfield today.

There’s a change in the other full back slot too, with Scott Malone coming in to replace Chris Löwe. The German defender is not in the squad this afternoon.

The final switch comes up front, where top scorer Laurent Depoitre comes in for Steve Mounié. The Benin international is a substitute this afternoon too.

Michael Hefele makes a welcome return to the match day squad this afternoon after three-month lay-off due to an Achilles problem. Town’s number 44 is on the bench today.

Rajiv van La Parra is making his 100th start in English league football this afternoon, which have come for Wolverhampton Wanderers, Brighton & Hove Albion and the Terriers.
