Wagner makes three changes to starting XI

Huddersfield Town Head Coach David Wagner has made three changes to the starting line-up for today’s Premier League game against Southampton; 3pm kick-off at St. Mary’s Stadium.

With Jonathan Hogg suspended for today’s game after his red card at Watford last weekend, United States international Danny Williams returns to the team to make his 150th appearance in English league football.

Another Town player hitting a landmark today is Tom Ince; the 25 year-old makes his 250th league appearance today in place of the injured Elias Kachunga.

Town’s final change comes at left back. Chris Löwe is part of the squad today despite the foot injury that forced him off the pitch at Vicarage Road last Saturday, but the left back spot goes to Scott Malone this afternoon. It’s Scott’s first start in four games, since the fixture at Everton on 2 December.

Tommy Smith returns from his illness to take a place among the substitutes today, whilst Joe Lolley steps up to take a spot on the bench also.

Alongside Hogg and Kachunga, Wagner is still without the injured Philip Billing (ankle) and Jon Gorenc Stanković (knee).
