Wagner makes fives changes for match at Goodison Park

Huddersfield Town Head Coach David Wagner has made five changes to his starting line-up for this afternoon’s Premier League match against Everton; 3pm kick-off at Goodison Park.

The first change sees experienced defender Martin Cranie drop to the bench is place of attacking midfielder Tom Ince.

Both full-backs have also been changed as Club Captain Tommy Smith and Scott Malone return to the starting line-up replacing Florent Hadergjonaj and Chris Löwe respectively, meaning Tommy will lead out Town this afternoon in the red and black flash alternate kit.

USA international Danny Williams is recalled by Town’s Head Coach in place of Jonathan Hogg, who has been named as a substitute.

Collin Quaner will make his second Premier League start of the season against Everton, whilst Elias Kachunga also retains his place from the defeat at Arsenal.

The final change comes upfront as Laurent Depoitre comes back at the expense of club record signing Steve Mounié, who is also on the bench.

Attacking midfielder Kasey Palmer has also been named as one of Town’s substitutes this afternoon. The 21 year-old hasn’t featured for the Club since coming off the bench in the Terriers’ 0-0 draw at home to Southampton on Saturday 26 August 2017 and has been out after suffering a hamstring injury, whilst on international duty with England’s Under-21s.

Wagner is still without the services of Philip Billing (ankle), Jon Gorenc Stanković (knee) and Michael Hefele (Achilles) all through injury, whilst Rajiv van La Parra is unavailable through suspension.
