Scott Malone described how Huddersfield Town earned a hard-fought point against Burnley in the Premier League.

The left-back admitted his delight that Town kept a clean sheet against Burnley, despite the visitors having the better chances.

He explained that every point in this league is vital and spoke of his delight that Town has gone for games unbeaten in the Premier League.

Scott went on to discuss his own personal aims heading into a match day, what it was like to play against a hard-working Burnley side and why he thought Town wasn’t at its best going forwards.

Malone spoke to #HTTV following the goalless draw and commented:

“It was hard-fought match and exactly what we expected.

“They’re seventh for a reason, they’ve done exceptionally well all season; we expected a battle as they’ve got big lads all over the pitch, but they played good football as well.

“We will take a point as we did three days ago and that’s another one on the board.

“Every point is a good point, I don’t think we created a lot and I think they had the better chances.

“At the end of the day, it’s ended 0-0 and we’ve got 24 points, so we are well on our way.”
