Huddersfield Town striker Collin Quaner was delighted to start his first Premier League game against Arsenal and believes the team should focus on itself against Everton on Saturday.
Collin discusses making his first Premier League start against Arsenal on Wednesday, setting up a goal on the opening day of the season for Steve Mounié and about returning back to fitness following the calf injury he suffered against Leicester City.
The striker/winger went on to preview this weekend’s match against Everton explaining that the Town players will put everything surrounding Saturday’s opponents behind them and focus on themselves.
He also discussed what striker’s do when the “make mistakes” or “miss opportunities” and praised the superb travelling supporters.
On returning to action for Huddersfield Town, Collin commented:
“I am really happy that I could start a game again, it’s been quite a long time since I started.
“It’s always good to get minutes for every player, that’s my goal and what I work for so hopefully I can continue with this.
“I think we played quite well against Arsenal for a big part of the game, as long as we could keep it to 1-0 it was ok, but then we conceded two easy goals.
“We just have to make sure that we can stay in matches and use our chances.
“I had some chances and that’s what we have to make on using our chances in the next game.”
