Huddersfield Town striker Steve Mounié admitted his two goals against Brighton & Hove Albion gave him a lot of confidence.

Steve joked that the only he only ever scores two goals in matches for Huddersfield Town and revealed that his early goal gave him a big boost going into the game.

The striker explained how strong the players are as a group and how there positive and fighting attitude helped the game plan work perfectly. He went on to admit he loved celebrating in front of the Town supporters and spoke about being focused on the Chelsea match.

On his two goals Steve Mounié said:

“The two goals gave me a lot of confidence, I was looking forward to scoring a third goal, but it didn’t happen.

“I’m really happy with the win and for the work we did together because we worked very hard.

“We were very aggressive during the game and we had a lot of opportunities, so it was a nice game to play in.”
